Head Constable Than Singh of Delhi Police runs a unique school from a temple near Lal Quila of Delhi for the children of the ragpickers who have never seen the face of educational institutes in their lives. The children who help their parents in ragpicking not only got a new life by going to this school but wearing a uniform and learning basic subjects has been shaping them into better kids. The kids study basic subjects here, have a uniform to wear and school bags to carry. Than Singh has been tirelessly working to shape the lives of these kids with education and now these children have even got admission in government schools for formal education. There are few men in khakhi who believe in going 'beyond the call of duty' to aide people around them who need help!
