Two school boys from Kendriya Vidyalaya assaulted by a group of boys

The police are hunting for the accused who were around 20 in numbers and assaulted 13-year-old school students outside the school

New Delhi, March 9

A group of around 20 boys allegedly assaulted two school students in the Delhi Cantonment area. 

The police said the incident took place on February 28 outside Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 in Delhi Cantt area when the kids were returning home. 

The victims are around 13 years of age and study in KV 2. Both of them have received injuries with one of them injuries on his head. 

According to the police, the accused allegedly blocked their way and assaulted them. The accused were around 20 in numbers and severely thrashed the victims while one of them managed to escape and save himself. 

The police have collected video footage related to the incident. 

The police added that the accused who are still getting identified, had even used sticks to beat them up. 

The police have registered FIR under IPC sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 341 (wrongful restraint).
