The Delhi Police recovered the body of a three-year-old boy from a public toilet in a slum cluster in Shahdara district.
The police stated that the child left his house with Rs 15 to buy biscuits on December 8. Around half an hour later, his body was spotted at the nearby public toilet by a local. His family was alerted to informed police.
According to the police, the boy was found in the same slum cluster. There were no signs of external injuries. His clothes, a packet of biscuits and some money was found at the spot.
The police have also not found any instance of sexual assault or kidnapping involved.
The post mortem report of the child will throw more light in the case, police added. The police are making inquiry into the incident.
