Three men in inebriated state drag a car driver on bonnet, assault woman in Ghaziabad

The woman was in the car driven by a driver and returning home from work when the accused rammed into the car; when questioned on road rage they slapped the woman and dragged the driver on bonnet for 3-4 kilometers

In a case of road rage in Ghaziabad, two men allegedly thrashed a car driver and a woman after their vehicles hit each other in Sahibabad area. 

The accused picked up the car driver and dragged him on the bonnet of their car for nearly 3-5 kilometers leaving the onlookers and local shocked. The locals even tried to stop the accused and shouted at him however he fled.

A video that was shared on social media shows a car chasing the accused, who are dragging the victim on the bonnet.

The police traced and arrested the three accused who were inebriated and hit two or three vehicles.

The police said that the incident took place on April 22 night. The woman victim approached them at midnight. She said she was returning from work and was with her driver, Vijay, when a Wagon R car rammed into their vehicle. When they asked the persons in the car to stop and questioned them about the rash driving, one of them took away their car key. 

The accused then hit the driver with bricks and slapped the woman. The dragged the driver on the bonnet before fleeing away from the spot. 

The police have booked the accused for rash driving, drunken driving and other charges under the Indian Penal Code.
