Teen hangs himself after alleged harassment from school over non payment of fees

The police were informed that the 14-year-old boy was humiliated and also asked to leave class that day over the issue

A teen allegedly hanged himself on in Ghaziabad who was allegedly harassed by his school over non-payment of fees. 

The police were informed that the 14-year-old boy was humiliated and also asked to leave class that day over the issue.

The family of the deceased told police that he was told to beg or get a job if he cannot pay the fees. He was very upset. He and his two younger siblings were also not allowed to take the half-yearly exams. The father of the child had requested for some time to pay the dues. 

The police stated that the school authorities have claimed that he had returned home after being told to fetch his father as he had got into a fight with another child, whose parents had also been called.

The police are verifying the statements from both the sides and geared up to file an FIR.
