The accused who were known to the girl as they live in the same vicinity lured the girl and took her to a hotel where five boys took turns to rape her

New Delhi, November 2

A 14-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by five men inside a hotel in Gurugram. 

The accused were identified as Mohit, Sohil, Praveen, Anshu, and Vikas from Gurugram. The accused were known to her as they stay near her residence. 

The girl’s father lodged a complaint with police stating that on October 29, around 12:30 pm, the teen left the house. The family waited for her thinking she went out to play and returned late at night disturbed. The teen later informed family that two boys lured her and took her to a hotel on a bike.

The accused called their friends and five boys took turns and raped her. These boys later threatened her to stay mum or face dire consequences. 

The police have registered an FIR for kidnapping, gang rape, and criminal intimidation of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the POCSO Act.
