Shiv Sena leader booked for thrashing eatery owner in Mohali allegedly for refusing to serve food at closing time

The Mohali Police booked Shiv Sena (Hindustan) leader Arvind Gautam for allegedly assaulting a meat shop owner. 

The police received a complaint from a businessman that he and his staff were going home after shutting his eatery in Phase VI of Mohali when Gautam along with a man and his gunman had come at his shop and ordered chicken.

The police said that Mohit refused to serve Gautam, following which the accused ransacked his shop and also threatened him with dire consequences. 

The police have registered a case under Section 307 (attempt to murder), 458 (lurking house-trespass or house-breaking by night after preparation for hurt, assault, or wrongful restraint), 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) have been filed against Arvind.
