The minor girl was killed with over 20 stab wounds had around 34 wounds on her body when the autopsy was conducted showing the gruesome manner in which she was killed at public space while bystander watched

The Delhi Police probing the Shadbad dairy murder case found out that the accused Sahil Khan was jilted and didn't want to let the girl go who wanted to end the relationship. Sahil was arrested from Bulandshahr in UP after he mercilessly stabbed a 16-year-old girl for over 20 times before smashing her face with stones. 

Sahil and the minor had a strained relationship and recently wee having lot of fights. The girl's parents had no clue about the relationship and from last 15 days she was staying with her friend. 

The investigators stated that Sahil was upset with the minor because she was ignoring his calls and wanted to end the relationship. This angered him and he had threatened to kill her. He kept pressuring her to continue the relationship but she did not listen.

The gory incident was covered in a CCTV footage that went viral on social media.

Sahil, after murdering the girl, fled from the spot to Rithala and then boarded a bus to Bulandshahr after switching off his phone and dumping the murder weapon. The police arrested the accused using technical surveillance and are yet to recover the murder weapon. 

The police were informed that the body of the victim had more than 34 wounds, around 20 injuries are stab wounds. The slab that was used to hit her ruptured her skull. 

The police also inspected the crime scene with the forensic team and questioned the people in the neighbourhood. The locals who witnessed the crime allegedly didn't try to save the girl however the footage showed one man trying to intervene who later got scared and rang away. 

The girl was lying dead in a pool of blood on the side on the busy road while no PCR call was made for at least 25 to 30 minutes. the police were informed by a police informer in the area after which police teams rushed to the spot. The police are also probing on the delay in reporting the matter while recording statements of the deceased, accused's family and that of others in the area.
