School girl gangraped in a school at Ayodhya, thrown off the building to show as accident

The police have booked school principal and two teachers for gangrape, murder and other charges

In a shocking case, a Class 10 girl was allegedly gang-raped and thrown off the school building inside the premises of a prominent private school in Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh. 

The police have lodged a case against the school principal and two staff members, including the sports teacher.

The victim's father lodged a complaint with police stating that his 15-year-old daughter who studied at a private school has been gangraped and pushed from the terrace of the building. The family was called by the school principal claiming that the girl fell from the terrace and asked to rush to the school. the girl was asked to come to the school despite it being shut for summer vacation. Two teachers who were present there raped the girl and then to hide the incident threw her from the terrace of the school building. 

The girl was fatally injured and taken to the hospital where she died during treatment.

The police have lodged an FIR under IPC Sections 376-D (gangrape), 302 (murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence, or giving false information to screen offender), and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) and also under the POCSO Act. 

The police have collected CCTV footage and other details from the school. The girl's last rites were performed by the family after the post mortem while a detailed investigation is underway.
