New Delhi, October 28

The NCB witness Kiran Gosavi who grabbed attention for his selfie with SRK's son Aryan Khan after the latter's arrest has been arrested by Pune Police.

Gosavi was tracked and held by the Pune Crime Branch that was hunting for him.
The Pune Police had earlier issued a lookout notice against Kiran Gosavi who was reportedly an independent NCB witness in Mumbai drug bust case, in connection with a 2018 cheating case against him.

The officials said Gosavi may be called for questioning by Mumbai Police in connection with drug bust case. It is interesting to note that Gosavi claims to work as a private detective.

In 2019, Pune Police had declared Gosavi as a wanted man. He was missing since then and was only spotted during cruise raid as NCB witness.

He also recently tried to surrender at a police station in Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow.

Several victims, who have been cheated by KP Gosavi, came forward to reveal about his alleged work.
During the NCB raids, Gosavi could be seen clicking selfies with Aryan Khan and helping him connect with someone over the phone.

Prabhakar Sail, another NCB witness, had earlier levelled serious allegations of extortion and established a 'vasooli link' in connection with the Mumbai luxury cruise drug bust case.

He also alleged that he overheard K P Gosavi saying that Rs 8 crore would have to be given to the Sameer Wankhede. The anti-narcotics agency NCB has rubbished all his allegations.

Sail had claimed that Gosavi took Rs 50 lakh from an individual after the raid at the cruise on October 2. He said he had helped Gosavi during Mumbai cruise drugs case.

According to reports, Sail claimed that Gosavi had planned to demand Rs 25 crorr from Shah Rukh Khan's manager Pooja Dadlani but would settle for Rs 25 crore. A part of the 'extortion' that is Rs 8 crore was to be given to Sameer Wankhede, Sail claimed in his affidavit.
