Parents of three minor girls in Alwar allege gangrape against 15 staff members of a government school
The police however suspect that a suspended teacher who has a molestation case against him have coaxed the parents to file a case against the 15 persons who testified against him in court
Three minor girl students of a government school in Alwar were allegedly gangraped. The case came to the fore as the Alwar police have booked three cases recently.
The families of the three victims filed three separate complaints at the police station that their daughters were gangraped in the government school. The parents have accused the entire school staff of 15 persons behind the act.
The police said that the staff of the government school has been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The police however said that the case of gangrape cannot be understood as straight case and they suspect involvement of a school teacher who was seen outside the police station. This school teacher was arrested last year for allegedly molesting a Dalit school girl where the school staff had testified against him.
The case is under trial, and the accused teacher recently got bail.
The police claimed that the same school teacher was seen camping outside the police station when the parents of the three girls were registering the formal complaints.
The police suspect that the gangrape allegations could be an act to target the school staff who testified against him and he is allegedly trying to ‘scare the witnesses’.
The police however did not divulge more details and stated that the girls needed to undergo medical examination and they need to ascertain as when the purported incident took place.
The state BJP president Satish Poonia issued statement saying that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot should resign if women are not provided a secure environment. Poonia also demanded strong action in the case.
