Nuh school boy who went missing from his home months ago was abducted, murdered-Haryana police arrest one

The boy a Class VI student was reported missing from his house with a bag of cash in August

The Haryana Police held a man for allegedly abducting and murdering a child who had gone missing from his house with a bag of cash with over Rs. three lakhs four months ago. 

The victim is an 11-year-old, a class VI student, who went missing from his house in Nuh. His father had initially lodged a missing person’s complaint. However, a day later, they had filed another complaint alleging that the boy had taken a bag, which had over Rs 3.62 lakh cash, and had been kidnapped.

The police arrested one Arif while the other accused now identified is on the run. 

The police said that the accused allegedly kidnapped and murdered the boy in September near Sariska in Alwar. The police had identified the accused through his DNA samples. 

According to the police, the victim was known to the duo and they took him to Gurgaon, Bahadurgarh, Hansi, Hisar and Haridwar. As per questioning, the accused said they strangled the boy to death in Sariska about 8-10 days after he went missing. Their intention was to steal the money that the victim had brought. After killing him, they went to Mumbai to spend money. In the past few months, they kept returning to the village to evade suspicion.

The police stated that few days before the boy went missing, his father had sold a farm plot for Rs. five lakhs and many in the village knew that cash large amount of cash was lying at his house.
 The family had deposited some amount in bank while over Rs. three lakhs of cash was lying their house. 

The police stated that the family claimed the accused lured the boy to bring the cash money and later killed him. The family learnt after four months that the their missing child was dead four months ago after the accused was arrested.
