The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a supplementary chargesheeted against an accused in case relating to a criminal conspiracy for carrying out terror attacks by Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) cadres.

The case was initially registered as by UP ATS in Lucknow and re-registered by NIA later. 

The accused identified as Danish Naseer of village Sounder, Dachhan of Jammu and Kashmir has been chargesheeted under section 120B of IPC and section 17, 18 & 38 of UA (P) Act 1967.

The NIA investigations have established that Danish Naseer was working as an Overground Worker for the HM, a proscribed terrorist organization, and also providing shelter and all kinds of support to active HM terrorists.

Being a part of the larger conspiracy, he knowingly facilitated HM terrorist Kamruz Zaman for committing terrorist acts. Inter alia, Danish Naseer transferred an amount of Rs. 30,000/- to arrested accused Kamruj Zaman, to further the terrorist activities of HM. 

The agency is further investigating the case.
