NIA conducts searches at multiple locations in Bihar in recruitment by CPI (Maoists) case

The searches were conducted in connection with activities of CPI (Maoists) in Rohtas, Bihar by the top leadership of CPI (Maoists) and its cadres

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches at six premises in Bihar in connection with  activities of CPI (Maoists) in Rohtas, Bihar by the top leadership of CPI (Maoists) and its cadres. 

The NIA conducted searches in Aurangabad, Gaya, Rohtas and Patna. 

The case was initially registered as in April and later taken over by NIA. 

The officials stated that the searches conducted today have led to recovery and seizure of incriminating materials including digital devices and documents.

The NIA is further probing the case.
