NIA conducts searches at multiple locations in Bihar in JMB Bhopal Case

The accused were found involved in propagating the JMB ideology and motivating youth to carry out Jihad against India : NIA

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches in East Champaran of Bihar in the case relating to arrest of six active cadres of JMB (Jamaat-ul-Mujaihideen)

JMB is a proscribed organization  including three illegal Bangladeshi immigrants from Aishbagh, Bhopal. 

The officials said that the accused were found involved in propagating the JMB ideology and motivating youth to carry out Jihad against India. 

The case was initially registered by STF Bhopal and was re-registered by NIA in April this year. 

The searches conducted led to recovery and seizure of digital devices Jihadi literature and books and various other incriminating documents, officials said. 

The NIA is further investigating the case.
