NCB arrests four drug traffickers with over 190 kilograms of Marijuana

The accused, all from Mumbai were working for a syndicate were going to deliver a large consignment of ganja sourced from Andhra Pradesh and Odisha

New Delhi, July 29

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai apprehended four alleged drug traffickers in Thane and seized 190 kg of Marijuana (ganja). 

The NCB stated that the four accused have been supplying ganja and other drugs in various parts of Mumbai, especially Mulund and Bhandup, for the past five years. 

The NCB had received an input that a large consignment of ganja sourced from Andhra Pradesh and Odisha was going to arrive in Thane. 

During the operation to arrest the accused, the NCB team  tracked the accused to Arjunali toll plaza, Padgha, Bhiwandi and Thane. The team then set up a barrier with a secured perimeter around the toll plaza and trapped the traffickers who were found coming in two cars. 

When the vehicle was checked it was found with 190 kilograms of Ganja.
