The police identified the accused Sonu Kumar (32), Babu Miyan (50) and Anand Kumar (58) who have been arrested alongwith two minors in connection with the case.
As per the case details, the girl lives with grandparents in South Delhi after her parents died a few years ago. On February 14, she left her house after a fight with her grandmother. She met a minor boy, who allegedly took her to what he claimed was his house. She was however gagged and kept confined in that house.
The girl's grandparents had been searching for her and lodged a complaint of kidnapping with the police on February 14.
The police added that at the same house two other girls were living along with a woman and her son, Sonu. The man later forced her into prostitution. The girl was rescued on March 17 after over a month of confinement and forced prostitution.
The police launched a hunt to trace the girl and zeroed in on the suspects through the call data records. The man's number was found in the phone of the girl and police had mounted technical surveillance on him which led them to the accused.
