Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the death of Disha Salian, the former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Fadnavis who is also the Home Minister of Maharashtra stated that an investigation will be done by a SIT formed of officers for an impartial probe without targetting anyone.
Sushant's manager, Diah Salian (28) allegedly died by suicide by jumping from a high-rise building in Malad area of Mumbai on June 8, 2020.
Sushant Rajput was found hanging at his apartment in Bandra area on June 14, 2020.
Devendra Fadnavis while addressing the ongoing assembly stated that the case is already with the Mumbai Police. Those who have proof can furnish it, he added.
The ruling alliance MLAs sought formation of the SIT for a probe into Salian’s death. The House was adjourned five times over the issue.
