MHADA Exam Paper Leak- Pune Police arrest three including director of a company, accused from Mah health dept exam paper leak involved in MHADA exam paper leak

In yet another paper leak, Maharashtra Housing Area Development Authority (MHADA) examination paper was allegedly leak leading to the state government postponing the exams, which were scheduled starting December 12. 

The police have arrested three from Pune who were allegedly trying to leak questions papers of the exams.

Dr Pritish Diliprao Deshmukh (32), director of G A Software Technologies Private Limited, which was given the contract by the state government to conduct the recruitment examinations for posts in MHADA on December 12, 15, 19, and 20.

Deshmukh’s company G A Software Technologies Private Limited was given the contract to conduct the recruitment examinations for various posts of MHADA. 

Deshmukh is a resident of Kharalwadi in Pimpri Chinchwad. The police arrested his aides- Ankush Rambhau Harkal of Buldhana and Santosh Lakshman Harkal of Aurangabad.

MHADA officer Nitin Mane (47) lodged an FIR with the cyber police station of Pune city police The police booked the accused under Sections 406, 409, 120 (b) of IPC for criminal breach of trust, cheating, criminal conspiracy and provisions of the Maharashtra Prevention of Malpractices at University, Board and Other Specified Examinations Act, 1982.

The MHADA exam paper leak has come to the fire hardly a few days after the Maharashtra state health department paper was leaked. The Pune crime branch had arrested 17 persons including an Indian Navy sailor in the state health exam paper leak. 

Interestingly, the accused wanted in state health exam paper leak were found to be involved in the MHADA exam paper leak too. 

The Pune cyber cell teams identified three more accused while probing the state health exam paper leak and arrested Ajay Nandu Chavan, director of Target Career Point, Krushna Jadhav of Saksham Academy and their aide Ankit Chankhore from Aurangabad. The trio was allegedly found to be involved in the bid to leak the MHADA examination question paper.

The Pune police while probing the heath exam paper leak had received inputs that some of the accused had planned to leak the MHADA exam paper too. The Pune police teams were camping in Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, Pune and Thane districts when they traced the trio from Aurangabad.

The police have seized entry passes, educational documents and certificates of three candidates appearing for the MHADA examination, blank cheques and a list of 51 candidates who appeared for the health department examination. 

These three accused had allegedly come in contact with Deshmukh to hatch the conspiracy to leak the MHADA exam paper. 

The police are now probing the dealing between the accused and the money trail. The police suspect hands of more persons behind the MHADA exam paper who could have played a role in the state health department exam paper leak too. 

The Maharashtra Government has postponed the MHADA exams to next month while assuring refund of the fees to the candidates.
