Ludhiana Police seize properties worth over Rs. 1.63 cores of drug peddler

The properties including houses, shops and plots of peddler Hoshiar Singh were seized

New Delhi, March 25

The Ludhiana police have frozen Rs 1.63 crore’s worth of properties of three drug smugglers. 

The police informed that three houses and a shop worth Rs 1.08 crore of Hoshiar Singh of Lalton Kalan were frozen. 

A medical store, two vacant shops on land measuring 100 square yards belonging to Satnam Singh of New Sunder Nagar, and the house of Vikas Kumar of Ashiana Colony were also frozen by the police, police added.

The Ludhiana police stated that this sends a strong message to other peddlers in society. The property seizures would help to break the backbone and the economic support system of drug peddlers.
