Khalistani Liberation Force Chief Lakhbir Singh Rode's aide held from Amritsar

The Punjab Police have arrested an alleged associate of deceased Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh Rode from Amritsar.

The arrested UK citizen, Paramjit Singh Dhadhi, has been involved in terror funding and other subversive activities in Punjab.

Lakhbir Singh Rode, the self-styled chief of the banned outfits Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) and International Sikh Youth Federation, reportedly died in Pakistan at the age of 72 

A nephew of slain Khalistani militant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, Lakhbir Singh Rode was listed as an ‘individual terrorist’ under the UA(P)A and had fled to Pakistan.

On December 24, 2006, the Jalandhar police arrested Dhadhi along with two others where they had seized explosives, including 11 kg of RDX, 11 detonators, 11 timer devices, four hand grenades, two batteries, two pistols with four magazines and 100 cartridges, 10 m wire, and one walkie-talkie set.
