HM Amit Shah hold a Chintan Shivir for senior officers of MHA

Union Minister for Home and Cooperation Amit Shah presided over the second 'Chintan Shivir' of senior officers of Ministry of Home Affairs in New Delhi. 

The objective of the 'Chintan Shivir' was to interact with the senior officials of the Ministry and prepare an action plan for the implementation of the "Vision 2047" of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. 

The Home Minister reviewed the progress of work of the Ministry on the subjects of Counter Terrorism and Radicalization, Internal Security, Cyber and Information Security, Narcotics, Disaster Management, Foreigners, etc.

HM Shah also reviewed the status of Atmanirbhar Bharat, various budgetary announcements and important pending issues of the Ministry of Home Affairs. During the Chintan Shivir, the officers shared their suggestions on various topics related to the Ministry. 

In his closing address at Chintan Shivir, the Home Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India's place in the world is growing rapidly and no one can stop it from becoming first in every field in the world. Shri Amit Shah said that the Ministry of Home Affairs should prepare a roadmap and make efforts to follow it to achieve the goals of Vision 2047 and this 25-year roadmap will definitely be successful in making India number one in the world.

Amit Shah said that we should make every effort to visualize the challenges of the future and find their solutions ahead of time. He stressed on further increasing the capacity to use and prevent misuse of modern technology including drones and artificial intelligence.

Appreciating the work of the Ministry, the Union Home and Cooperation Minister called upon the officers to work more diligently to achieve the goals set in Vision 2047. Shri Amit Shah emphasized that more and more provision of solar power should be made for all the office buildings of Ministry of Home Affairs to reduce the power consumption.
