Gym trainer in Ghaziabad beaten to death after he objected to a couple kissing in public

The accused are all young boys in their 20s from Lajpat Rai College of Sahibabad where the victim was working as a gym trainer

A young man was beaten to death early after he objected to a man and woman “doing obscene acts” and “kissing” while riding a scooter. 

The victim was identified as Virat Mishra (27) a gym trainer. Mishra was admitted to GTB hospital and he died two days later.

The accused have been identified as Manish Kumar, Manish Yadav, Gaurav Kasana, Aakash, Pankaj and Vipul Kumar, all from Baghpat of UP and students of LR college.

The police stated that the incident took place near Lajpat Rai College in Sahibabad, where Mishra worked as a gym trainer. 

According to the police, Mishra had an argument with Manish Kumar, who was teaching a girl to ride a scooter. Mishra told him not to indulge in obscene acts in a residential area. Kumar allegedly called three-four of his friends and they attacked Mishra with sticks and bricks leaving him severeyl injured.

The police have registered case under IPC sections 307 (attempt to murder), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 147 (rioting), 506 (criminal Intimidation), 149 (unlawful assembly) and Section 302 (murder).
