Ghaziabad Police have arrested one in the murder of son retd police man from Delhi Police
Arun Singh (35) on of a retired policeman from Delhi Police, was a farmer and also a wrestler who was bludgeoned to death with bricks at a dhaba in Ghaziabad following a brawl
The Ghaziabad Police have arrested one while hunting for the two absconding accused in the death of the son of retired Delhi Police personnel.
The deceased identified as Arun Singh (35) was a farmer and also a wrestler who was bludgeoned to death with bricks at a dhaba in Ghaziabad. He was the son of a retired policeman from Delhi Police.
The police identified the accused as Chiranjeev Sharma, who is involved in two cases of attempted murder and violation of the Arms Act in 2016.
Sharma used to run a gym and had been working at a sweet shop in Noida after the gym closed some time ago, said police.
Sharma was arrested after identification however while he was taken to the spot for further investigation, he tried to run away from the spot. The vehicle he had used during the incident of crime was hidden in Banhera Khurd jungle.
The officials stated that when he was taken there to find the vehicle, he snatched a sub-inspector’s service pistol and attempted to run away. When police tried to surround and catch him, he fired at them. The police fired back in retaliation and the bullet hit in the right leg.
The police have launched a manhunt for his two accomplices who were present with him.
