Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi brought to Mandoli jail in Delhi from Gujarat

The prison authorities have lodged Lawrence Bishnoi in high security cell at Mandoli jail instead of Tihar Jail following the killing of gangster Tillu Tajpuriya in Tohar jail

Dreaded gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has been brought to Mandoli jail in Delhi in an ongoing investigation on gangs and criminal nexus probed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). 

Bishnoi who was initially lodged in Tihar Jail since his arrest in various henious crime cases was taken to Gujarat Jail in a case registered by Gujarat Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS). He was earlier in custody of Punjab Police that was probing killing of Punjab singer Siddhu Moosewala. 

After bring Bishnoi back to Delhi, the prison authorites chose Mandoli jail instead of Tihar Jail following the killing of gangster Tillu Tajpuriya. Tajpuriya was killed in hjigh security cell of Tihar Jail by aides of rival gangster Jitendra Gogi. 

Bishnoi is a high-risk inmate and a gang leader with associates and rivals in Delhi’s prisons. The prisons department has lodged him in high security cell and also tightened security. 

In a recent case, Bishnoi  will be produced before court where Delhi Police’s Crime Branch will apply for his custody. He has been named in a firing and extortion case reported rom Hari Nagar Ashram where a businessman had received threats from Bishnoi’s brother who demanded Rs 2 crore. 

In this case probed the Delhi Crime Branch, two juveniles wee arrested who wee hired by gangster using them to extort money from businessmen and traders. The boys were recruited by Bishnoi’s brother and gangsters from Rajasthan. The other accused revealed he met Bishnoi’s brother on Instagram and was then hired to carry out gang activities.
