Five of a family found dead in Hisar of Haryana

The police suspect that the man killed his wife and kids however his own body was found in a severely injured condition on the road

New Delhi, December 21

Five members of a family were found dead in their home in Hisar district of Haryana. 

The police said the initial probe shows that  the head of the family killed himself after killing his wife and three children.

The incident came to the fore when the villagers of Nangthala found the body Ramesh Kumar on Barwala road on Nangthala’s outskirts in the morning. 

The other deceased were identified as Kumar’s wife Sunita (35), their two daughters aged 14 years and 12 years and the 10-year-old son.

The police mentioned that Kumar used to run a business of printing wedding cards.

The police control room was alerted and when the police reached the spot, they found Kumar lying on the road in a severely injured condition. It appeared to be a case of accident initially.

The police added that the villagers who went to inform his family about his death went to his residence. However after several attempts noone responded. 

When they went inside they found four members of the family dead. There were injury marks on their heads and other parts of the bodies, police said.

The bodies of all the persons were sent for post-mortem.

Hisar Police stated that they are investigating whether the man killed his family before committing suicide or if someone plotted the murders. The police have sought help of forensics to rule out any foul play.
