Five drunk men assault security guard in Greater Noida, video viral

The guards stopped the men drinking alcohol inside a society premises and creating ruckus

New Delhi, December 18

The Noida Police arrested Five persons who were drunk and attacked a security guard at residential society in Greater Noida. 

The police states that the incident took place at the Samridhi Grand Avenue Society. 

The accused were identified as Brajesh Kumar Singh (40), Aman Tripathi (23), Randhir Mishra (23), Ankit Mishra (26)—all residents of Ghaziabad—and Amit Pandey (26), from Bisrakh.

The police said they took action against the accused after receiving a complaint from residents saying the men were creating nuisance while drinking alcohol on the housing society’s premises.

The CCTV footage of the incident, which went viral on social media, showed a few men drinking and making gestures at the guard. The group of men was also seen entering the guard’s room and attacking him with sticks and slapping him.

The men started attacking the guard after he objected them of drinking alcohol inside the premises and creating ruckus. 

The police have booked the accused for assault and other charges under the IPC.
