Eight DANIPS officials pass out of Delhi Police Academy

New Delhi, May 10

A grand passing out parade of the eight DANIPS officials was held at Delhi Police Academy. 

Delhi CP Sanjay Arora was the chief guest and took the salute of the marching contingents. 

Special CP (Training) Mukesh Kumar Meena welcomed the chief guest CP Sanjay Arora, Dharmesh Kumar Prajapati, Asstt. Registrar, Rashtriya Raksha University, other police officers, media and other guests. 

He congratulated the officers on completion of their basic training. He also acknowledged the support of officials of RRU for awarding PG Diploma in Police Administration and Investigation. He advised the passed out trainees to follow ethics and moral values in their job and discipline were imparted to them during training.

The passed-out officers hail from different states as three are from Uttar Pradesh, two are from Haryana, and one each from Rajasthan, Bihar and Karnataka and out of the eight officers, six are B.Tech, one each is M .Phil and B. Com.

During their basic training, apart from law subjects and Police Procedures they have also been taught in wide spectrum of subjects viz. Organization and Administration, Computer Science, Cyber-Crime, Police Behavior & Social Groups and Police Investigation. In Outdoor subjects, they have been trained in Parade, Drill, Un-armed Combat, Firing, firearms training simulator(FATS), Driving Simulators and in Anti-Terrorist measures. They have been given Physical Training via P.T., Games, Yoga and Gym activities to improve their physical fitness. 

These trainee officers have also been trained through Mini FSL, Multi Media System, Online classes, Online Study material, Nipun App, Simulated Crime Scenes to terrorism. Keeping in view the forth-coming G-20 Summit in India, they have also been given orientation training for G-20 Summit to prepare them for the Summit. 

The Chief Guest gave the trophies & certificates to the best performers in the batch, all Round Best trophy and topper in Indoor Examination was given to Dheeraj Kumar whereas, Aditya Kumar received trophy in Outdoor examination.

On this occasion, the oath was administered by Director, Delhi Police Academy, Vijay Singh. 

Dharmesh Kumar Prajapati, Asstt. Registrar, Rashtriya Raksha University administered oath of the Rashtriya Raksha University to these DANIPS (Prob.) Officers before awarding them the Post-Graduate Diploma Certificate in Police Administration and Investigation.

The Chief Guest during his speech welcomed Asstt. Registrar, Rashtriya Raksha University and others. He congratulated the family members and relatives of all the trainees. He mentioned that the passed-out officers have got a good start as police of the capital. This is the first day of their career. They have learnt the theoretical aspects of their duty during the training, which has to be practically put into professional use in their respective fields. During practical training they have good opportunity to learn more and more police work and understand thoroughly. 

The Chief Guest advised them to work in accordance with the lawful working system so that the prevention and investigation of crime is efficiently done. He emphasized the need for prevention of crime to strengthen the sense of security in society. He conveyed his best wishes to all for their successful career. All are expected to work hard and should uphold the pride and dignity of the police force. He also congratulated the senior officers & trainers of the Delhi Police Academy for imparting best training to these DANIPS (Prob.) officers.
