Delhi Police beefs up security as AAP gears up to protest against CBI probe against DyCM Manish Sisodia in liquor policy case

The police received intel that the Aam Aadmi Party is going to hold protests outside the houses of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah

Following the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raid at the residence of Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, the Delhi Police have beefed up security at New Delhi district. 

The district DCPs of Delhi Police were asked to send one company of police of the police force, five companies of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and one additional DCP of each district for additional security. 

The Aam Aadmi Party is going to hold protests outside the houses of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

The officials said that there were inputs received that the AAP will hold protests outside the residence of PM, HM and residences of senior ministers as well as Delhi L-G VK Saxena. 

The L-G’s residence is located in north Delhi as well as the residence of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. The police have beef up security at both the spots alongwith additional forces of CAPF.
