Delhi Police arrests leader of Maharana Pratap Sena for rape
The complainant, associated with another right-wing organization had filed a complaint with police that the accused took her to UP Bhawan on the pretext of arranging a meeting with two union ministers and attempted to rape her
The Delhi Police arrested the national president of Maharana Pratap Sena from MP’s Ujjain for allegedly sexually harassing a woman at Uttar Pradesh Bhawan in New Delhi last week.
The complainant, associated with another right-wing organization had filed a complaint with police that the accused took her to UP Bhawan on the pretext of arranging a meeting with two union ministers and attempted to rape her and threatened her.
The police have also charged him for rape and sexual assault.
The accused has been identified as Rajvardhan Singh Parmar who is the president of Maharana Pratap Sena party.
The accused has been booked under IPC sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 354 A (sexual harassment), and 506 (criminal intimidation).
