The girl was stalked, harassed and tortured for one year by the accused untill her father warned him however that became a reason for a planned murder

The Delhi Police South West District arrested stalker murderer who brutally killed a girl. The girl was being harassed and tortured by the accused since one year.

As per the case details, on July 12 South Campus police station has received a call stating that someone has brutally murdered a girl and left her to die. The girl was found  lying in a pool of blood and an axe smeared in blood was also lying there. The girl was shifted to Safdarjung hospital.

The police added that victim's mother told police that the accused Pradeep alias Praveen was stalking, harassing and torturing her from last one year. The parents of victim tried to make the understand the accused not to make any relation with their daughter but the accused continued to stalking their daughter. At about one month ago the father of deceased had slapped the accused after which he decided to kill the victim as she had also stopped talking with him. 

The police teams raided Palwal Haryana where sisters of the accused live and as per the primary investigation there was a lot of probability of accused being hiding there.  The second team conducted raids at the local hideouts of accused and all the teams started sharing information’s with each other. Following technical surveillance, CCTv footage, CDRs  the police zeroed in Pradeep who was running from one hideout to another to escape his arrest.

DCP (Southwest) Ingit Pratap Singh stated that he was jilted and wanted to take revenge. He purchased an axe from RK Puram and planned to end the life of the victim before her birthday. As per his plan he killed the victim just one day before birthday on July 13.         

The accused was sent on one day police remand. The police recovered the murder weapon from the spot while his clothes and other belongings after his arrest.
