Delhi Police Outer District held arms traffickers from UP

The accused from UP had arrived in Delhi to deliver both foreign and Indian made arms

New Delhi, August 12

The Delhi police outer district held arms traffickers from UP who were found in the national capital to deliver arms. 

The accused were identified as Shahrukh from Meerut, Devesh Sharma from Hapur and and one Tarun from UP. The police recovered one motorcycle and eight pistols (foreign and Indian made) with 18 live cartridges from the accused.

The police had recieved information of arms deal and details of the movement of supplier and receiver following which a trap was laid by the team in the area of Alipur. 

The police added that the accused were earlier also involved in cases of arms trafficking.
