The arrested supplier worked for one Gulzar of Baraut (UP) who received Marijuana straight from supplier based in Andhra Pradesh

The Delhi Crime Branch seized 75kg of Marijuana worg Rs. 1.5 crores busted Andhra Pradesh supply chain.

The crime branch identified the accused as Tannu Ruhela from Baghpat in UP who was clandestinely active in the areas of Delhi-NCR and seized 75 Kg Marijuana from his possession.

According to the crime branch, they had received information that the accused was going to supply the huge consignment in the area of Jhilmil Industrial area of Delhi.  Marijuana would be coming in Jhilmil Industrial Area, Delhi to supply Marijuana to someone. 

The police team laid a trap near Swahney Rubber Industries, Jhilmil Industrial Area where the drug supplier had come with the consignment of the contraband for handing over the same to the receiver and was caught red-handed. Contraband 75 Kg fine quality Marijuana was seized from SX-4 Car No- DL-80NB-3501.

DCP (Crime) Monika Bhardwaj stated that Tannu works for Gulzar Baruat (UP) from last one year. Gulzar has provided him a Car SX-4 to take Marijuana from Andhra Pradesh in August, when he came for supplying Marijuana to someone in Jhilmil Industrial Area on the direction of Gulzar. 

He has been supplying Marijuana clandestinely for the last one year.

The crime branch believes that Tannu Ruhela's  arrest has made a significant dent in the network of drug suppliers active in the areas of Delhi-NCR. The agency is further investigating to nab the source resident of Andra Pradesh.
