Delhi Crime Branch busted a gang that committed 100 burglaries across the nation

This gang of four belong to Bangaladesh and operated across the country for dacoities at posh residential colonies

New Delhi, April 7

The Delhi Crime Branch busted a gang that committed 100 burglaries across the nation. 

The accused were identified as Rafiq Laskar  Saidul Laskar (33),  Md. Salim alias Saifarat Abdul Manan Seikh (26), Ajizul Rehman Mijanur Rehman (25) and Md. Razzak Tayyab (36) all from Bangladesh..

The crime branch seized one country made pistol (Desi Katta), two push button knives, four live cartridges and house breaking implements from them. 

With increasing number of burglaries reported in Delhi and NCR, the crime branch's special task forces formed a team to crack the gang that was allegedly committing these burglaries. 

The crime branch received a tip-off that some burglars had planned to gather in Arun Jaitly Park at Siri Fort Road and might commit a burglary or dacoity in the posh area of Hauz Khas. 

The crime branch immediately formed a special team under supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh. The team conducted a raid and successfully apprehended four accused persons from Arun Jaitly Park, Siri Fort Road. 

The crime branch stated that all the accused belong to Bangladesh. In the last few years they have settled illegally in many parts of India. They have commit crime across the country and have committed more than 100 burglaries and dacoities. 

The officials said that they carry specific weapons to break into the homes. If people are found inside the houses, they used to hold them hostage on knife points to commit the davoities. They have committed many burglaries in Faridabad, Jodhpur, Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Gulbarga,  Bangalore and Vapi.
