DTC bus driver, conductor attacked with blades in road rage at Northeast Delhi

The Delhi Police have arrested three men for allegedly assaulting a conductor of a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus with a paper cutter and blade during a banter at Shastri Nagar area of Northeast Delhi.
The injured conductor has been identified as Beer Singh (36) and the accused have been identified as Manjeet, Vishal and Alam.
The police stated that the incident happened around 12.35 am when the Mahindra Supro van in which the accused were travelling brushed against a DTC bus coming from the opposite direction.
The van was allegedly travelling on the wrong side and the mirror of the DTC bus got damaged in the incident. When the bus driver and the conductor protested, the three men pulled the conductor down and assaulted him with a paper cutter and blade.
The police have booked the accused for assault and other charges under various sections of the IPC.
