The student was under pressure and stressed due to the ongoing examination

New Delhi, March 15

A class 12 student of a private school allegedly jumped to death from the 13th floor of his Gurgaon house.

The police added that the student had been stressed due to studies and examinations.

The police informed that the incident was reported around 1 am, following which a police team went to the spot. 

According to the police, his family informed them that he was stressed due to ongoing exams and his studies. However, the exact reason for the alleged suicide is yet to be ascertained. The family has not filed any complaint. The body was handed over to the family after the post-mortem.

The police have initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC.
