Rajeshwari rushed the man in an auto rickshaw with her uniform folded up, waist deep water in rain lashed Cheenai

New Delhi, November 12

Chennai Police Inspector has won hearts across the country for carrying an unconcious man on her shoulder when the city witnessed heavy rain lash.

Inspector Rajeshwari posted at TP Chatram police station was seen lifting an unconscious man from the footpath strewn with rubble. She carried him on her shoulders towards a car but when she found out that she couldn't take him in the car, she was found rushing to an autorickshaw, with the man on her shoulders.

She placed him on the backseat with the help of a few men. The cop, barefoot and with her pants folded up, instructs the autorickshaw to be rushed to the hospital.

The footage abd photos of Rajeshwari have restored the faith in Khakhi for many. 

Inspector Rakeshwari is part of the investigations in which over a dozen men were named for allegedly raping a hearing impaired girl in 2018.
