Bike borne assailants who are unidentified hurled bombs at the residence of Nikunj Behari Das

New Delhi, December 13

Bombs were hurled at the house of a former official of the Land Revenue Department in South Paragnas district in West Bengal. 

The incident took place at the residence of Nikunj Behari Das near Dhapadhipi Road of Ward No. 16 of Baruipur Municipality on December 9.

Behari alleged that a group of bike-borne miscreants hurled two bombs at his house.

His family members heard the loud explosion sound and found a windowpane smashed by the impact of the explosion and a carpet caught fire.

The incident left the family and people of the locality terrified, he told police his complaint. 

The police stated that the assailants are unidentified and the teams are tracing them to know the motive behind the incident.
