BSF intercepts a drone from Indo Pakistan border in Tarn Taran

New Delhi, February 29

The Border Security Force (BSF) intercepted a drone from the border area of Tarn Taran district in Punjab.  

The officials said that in a coordinated effort, a comprehensive joint search operation with Punjab Police was conducted in the expected dropping zone and surrounding areas. 

The BSF successfully recovered one drone in a farming field adjacent to Kalash Havelian village in Tarn Taran district. The recovered drone is identified as a Quadcopter (Model - DJI Matrice 300 RTK).

The officials added the diligent observation by BSF troops, coupled with the collaborative efforts of Punjab Police has resulted in yet another successful recovery of a drone with illicit motives from across the border.
