Punjab-origin UN designated gangster Amarpreet Samra alias Chakki was reportedly shot dead in Canada’s Vancouver when he was coming out of a wedding venue.

Samra was among the top-10 gangsters of the UN Gang. In April this year, the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit-British Columbia of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police released a list of 11 dreaded criminals with nine Punjabi gangsters, including Samra.

It is being alleged that he was shot by men belonging to a rival gang called ‘Brothers Keeper Group’.

As per the local reports, Samra was on the dance floor at Fraserview Banquet Hall with other guests less than 30 minutes before he was killed at Fraser Street around 1.30 am. Samra was present at the venue with his brother Ravindra,

The police had received a call on their helpline number after Samra was shot at and immediately rushed to the spot. They tried to save him by giving him CPR until paramedics arrived, but he died on the spot.

The police released a statement, “Anyone with information that could assist investigators is asked to call the Vancouver Police Homicide Unit at 604-717-2500'.

As per the police records, both the brothers are involved in drug trafficking in the US and Canada. Both of them have huge stakes in the business with their rival gangs which included the Brothers, the keepers group, Wolfpack, and the red scorpion group, the local press reported.
