A teen girl rescued rom kidnapping jumped from police barrack in Aligarh of UP

The police said the 19-year-old girl was recently rescued from Etah from an alleged kidnapping and brought to Vijay Garh police station

A girl who was recently rescued a week after she was kidnapped jumped from the mahila barrack of a police station in Aligarh district. 

The police said the 19-year-old girl was recently rescued from Etha from an alleged kidnapping and brought to Vijay Garh police station.

The woman jumped from the second floor of the barrack escaping police attention on May 10. The police rushed as they heard a loud noise and found her lying in a pool of blood. The officials added that she has suffered serious injuries on various parts of the body, including her head and her condition is critical. 

The 22-year-old Dalit youth, identified as Akash, who was booked for kidnapping the woman, is still on the run.

The Aligarh Police has received a complaint from the girl’s father about the alleged kidnapping of his daughter by Akash. In his complaint he had also mentioned that Akash had threatened and misguided his daughter following which she attempted to die by suicide. The police teams had traced the girl and Etah and rescued her. 

The police have now filed a fresh case against Akash on charges of abetment of suicide and criminal intimidation. 

During an inquiry, the police found out that Akash and the woman had gone to Gujarat. On May 5, the Aligarh Police received a tip-off that Akash and the woman were seen in Etah following which she was rescued.
