The Delhi Police traced down a teen form Punjab who apparently rode a cycle for around 300 km to meet his favourite YouTuber in Delhi.

The boy who was reported missing by his family in Punjab was located in Northwest Delhi and reunited with his family.

The police said that the teenager left his home to meet Nischay Malhan, who runs a YouTube channel ‘Triggered Insaan’ and has 16.9 million subscribers.

The boy left for school around 6-7 am but instead, started cycling towards Delhi. Soon, his parents and the Punjab Police contacted the Delhi Police to help find the boy. The boy cycled for nearly two three days to reach Delhi.

The family also sought help on social media after CCTV footage of a nearby road showed the boy in his uniform riding his cycle.

His family who were searching for him  reported him missing at Patiala’s Anaj Mandi police station.

DCP (Northwest) Usha Rangnani said, "Since the YouTuber lives in Pitampura, we deployed a team and started looking for the child. We finally found CCTV footage near the YouTuber’s house in which the boy was seen. On enquiry, it was found that said YouTuber was not present in his apartment and was in Dubai to attend a family function,”

Malhan too requested Delhi Police to find the boy and said that he was in Dubai. “This is serious, if anybody has any information, please contact the police or the undersigned. I’m not in Delhi and travelling in Dubai, without a network, will keep posted about this however much I can…. Please @DelhiPolice pls help,” Malhan said in his tweets.

The police started looking for possible routes that the boy could have taken and worked in coordination with the Patiala police. On October 7 evening, the boy was eventually located at Pitampura district park.
