The under construction building collapsed in Roop Nagar industrial area in Loni of Ghaziabad

New Delhi, February 21

Two labourers were killed and a dozen others are feared trapped after the roof of an under-construction building collapsed in Ghaziabad.

The police said the incident took place in the Roop Nagar industrial area in Loni, a neighbouring Delhi.

The fire and emergency services rescued four persons have been rescued and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. During the time of the incident around 15 labourers were suspected to be under the debris. 

The primary probe showed that the labourers were working on a construction site owned by one Madan Lal Sharma. 

The police have begun an inquiry into the matter.
