NH48 shut for 90 days. Delhi Traffic Police issues directive

The Delhi Traffic Police issued a directive stating to shut NH48 for the construction of a flyover and an underpass, commuters will face severe traffic snarls across Delhi and Gurgaon for at least 90 days.

The flyover and underpass will link Dwarka to NH 8 and Nelson Mandela Marg.

A 500m stretch of the highway will be shut for commuters. The construction will be done on the Shiv Murti point, which connects Gurgaon, Dwarka and south Delhi. Police officers said they would soon issue notices for the highway’s closure, officials said.

Vehicles will be diverted towards slip roads next to the carriageway towards Delhi. At the Shiv Murti point, the vehicles will be diverted towards the carriageway.
