The incident has left one person injured while the chaos after the firing led to a stampede injuring 10 children.

The police identified the victim as Lalbabu Prasad, a resident of Hardiya.

The police stated that the kids were playing cricket when four to five men came in a vehicle and started beating them up. Bablu allegedly hit them and opened fire in the air to scare them away.

However, the angry villagers rushed to the spot and blocked the government vehicle used by the minister's son. Bablu however fled from the spot.

The police reached the spot and seized the weapon allegedly used by the minister's son for firing.
