The Border Security Force (BSF) carried out rescue operations in Mizoram during a massive landslide

The officials said that a massive earthslide after quarry blast in a stone quarry, occurred at Maudarh in Hnahthial district. On learning about the collapse of stone quarry and information from Mizoram Police, a BSF rescue team was immediately despatched and arrived as first response unit.

The BSF recovered eight bodies so far. Four more persons were reported missing who are being searched with assistance from NDRF teams.
